Yes, I just pulled that joke. No, it was never even that funny.
Like almost always, ~Djheatha and I were cosplaying together at Otakon, this past 2007, and decided to go as Aruru and Eruru. Much humour insued from our collective familes.
The Trifecta of three peices has died! (This has three and a half)
Anyway, this was F**KING HOT. Heavy, made by Lucifer, you get my drift?
See, this fabric was reaaaaaaaaaalllllly cheap. So I bought it in March, forgetting that we would be wearing it in August.
Teehee?
Oh, and the designs on the sleeves/Dress were all made by me. Sadly.
Fabric: Heavy cream cotton, Pink knit of Hades, heavy Navy cotton, and the red fabric of Satan.
Total Hours: 50. Actually, I was sewing it the Friday morning of the Con.
Eruru (c) Aquaplus? They made the original porn, but I dunno.
heehee...those costumes WERE hot...it was CRAZY!!!....::dies from a heat stroke::

Oh wow. Very nice! I actually cosplayed Eruruu for a local convention, made my own costume. Turned out really well except for the bottom pattern/trim which I wasn't able to figure out how to do. Yours is excellent though, that must have been a lot of work. ^_^

uh... can i ask to see the outer robe stretched out? i plan on doing this cosplay next, and while i have the general idea laid out, ide liek to see what you did for that. i found her whole outer coat thingy a lil more trouble then ide like.... but if youde be kind to share your tricks with me? lol, i really just wanna see how you did the slitted part of that outer robe. thanks! and if not.... thanks anyways!
Well, I made the outer robe from a pattern from an old Yukata (summer kimono) I had lying around. n.n Then I only sewed up to my hips and finished the edges with some red fabric. To keep the sides closed, I would put snaps on them to keep the material from sliding. If you want, I can still dig up the costume and take some quick photos of it. Tell me if you have any more questions!
